Lovely little cafe right by the playground by the sea. Had a bang tidy breakfast – one cooked, one granola – with drinks for like £16, so a bargain in a great place with lovely service.

Not really a cafe but a deli, and it’s full of amazing things. I had a bacon and cheese wrap and an intense peanut butter brownie which I would highly recommend. But they have all sorts of olives and such and will be coming back!

Massive cheery cafe attached to the Emmaus Emporium which is awesome itself. Super cheap food and happy staff, might not be the absolute best eggs ever but with a full English for £5.75 you can’t go wrong.

Friendly, actually quite spacious cafe with quite honestly incredible food at very reasonable prices. Went twice in one day for breakfast and lunch; scrambled eggs delicious, waffles with bacon and maple syrup hands down the best ever. I keep thinking about them!

Classic “caff” with loads of sandwiches, omelettes, breakfasts etc etc. Nice interior and a busy place, but I think really just average all round – ok food, not expensive but not cheap, that sort of thing.
Verdict: Ok

Sandwich bar type place with a big menu to choose from which they make on the bread of your choice. Really nice people in there though and really excellent food – I had a chicken, bacon and avocado on “tiger” baguette type thing and they grilled up the bacon then and there. Delicious and a lot of value for £3.50. Also do breakfast rolls!

Tiny little Portuguese deli serving tortilla and salad, croquettes and patties and various specials. Really good value and top taste! Very friendly and a nice place to sit outside if there’s a free table.

Apparently the Flour Pot’s latest store, with a bunch of fairly pricey artisan bread, pastries and sandwiches. And it’s just as great, but the place itself has very little room to sit, and what it has isn’t particularly comfortable. If you can grab one of the outside tables you’re ok, but otherwise take your deliciousness elsewhere.

Classic “caff” type place with huge menu of sandwiches, breakfasts, burgers etc. Basic but pleasant inside and a nice location for sitting outside in the sun; good food at good prices.

Cute little place for coffee and cake (or ice cream or a shake) – highly recommend rainbow cake! Be aware that it is ONLY dessert-y things – brownies as well – but they are delicious.
