Looking at the web results for this, there was a heroic effort to save this pub from developers for the community (ed: see comment below). Power to them, but as a result I guess it feels like walking into someone else’s house. Could be funky and cool, instead you feel like you’re intruding. I feel bad for saying so but the staff can’t be bothered either; best go to a real pub.

The new owners stated thru had no intention of running as a full of pub or any kind of pub, when they purchased.
The campaign team didn’t raise enough to purchase the venue ourselves and run as a full community pub. We did save from developers, which was an achievement in itself.
Please correct your article as its putting out the wrong message about the community group who tried to purchase. WE ARE NOT INVOLVED WITH THIS VENUE.
