Deliveroo Editions of a brand I’ve heard of but never had. Had one of their preconfigured grilled chicken burritos, and I really enjoyed that it was a bit different – chargrilled flavour. Good chips and guac too. Not my favourite burrito, but worth a go for sure.

Ace Pizza (Burger/Kebab)
Only tried one thing: a 12″ garlic and mozzarella pizza bread. And it was quite expensive, but so so worth it.

Proper dirty curry takeaway; everything was delicious because it was very bad for us. Have to not eat too much to avoid having it sit inside you for a long time, but that’s not its fault!

Had Deliveroo of this Lebanese restaurant, and it was really great. The mezze platter was massive and came on a proper separated tray, and my grilled chicken was fresh and flavourful. Not the cheapest for this sort of cuisine but worth it.

NO.3 Chinese Takeaway
Tricky, as I didn’t have much standard Chinese stuff. I had chips, which were excellent actually, and wontons, which had way too much pastry to filling. Then I had a combination salt and pepper – chicken, squid, king prawn & ribs. The chicken was amazing, the squid and ribs chewy and boring, and there was one thing I’m not sure what it was. So on balance not a great choice.

Mac & Wings
Delivery only place, I tried pancetta mac with a free cheesy garlic bread. And I enjoyed it, I guess, the garlic bread was cheesy but not very garlicy, the mac I feel would be pretty great fresh in a restaurant but it was kind of half and half delicious and just ok, hence the verdict.

Pho
Struggled with this one. Brighton outpost of a Vietnamese chain, reasonably priced stuff. Pork spring rolls amazing (because stuffed with pork!) and summer rolls and noodles nice. But my spicy brisket pho was pretty poor – just like spicy oil and little flavour. Probably worth another go.

Excellent Thai takeaway, coming in Chinese takeout style boxes with plenty of meat, and well priced.

Deliveroo Editions of what is a chain of gyros/souvlaki places. Interestingly their own locations seem to charge quite a bit less, but for me these were just fine – a little dry – and way too expensive for the size.
